Wednesday in the Word | 2025
Wednesday in the Word is a mid-week gathering in July and August that gives us an opportunity to connect and engage in the scriptures together.
This year will be an interactive learning experience where we study Paul’s letter to the Philippians around the table, as a community. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join!

Want to bring your kids? Childcare is available upon request. Please note: (1) Childcare is from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, even the potluck weeks, and (2) the childcare request needs to be submitted ideally 2 days in advance.

Each week we encourage you to bring your own bible, as well as any other supplementary resources (ie. commentaries) you like to use. Everything else will be provided for you. With that said, we encourage you to take a look at the resources below and consider getting your own access to them– many are free digital resources.

Photocopies will be provided at each gathering, however if you’d like your own copy, you can purchase one below.

This app “puts you in the room” of translation committees as they translate the Bible from the original languages into English. We would strongly encourage you to download the app, however photocopies of the NET footnotes will be provided at each gathering (1 per table).

This is a free commentary you can download right onto your device. While we would recommend the NIV application commentary first, this is a great free alternative if you want your own.
