Vicki Nishihama
Vicki Nishihama, R.P., completed a Master’s of Divinity (Counselling Major) at Tyndale University & Seminary in Toronto in 2009. After which, she began practicing psychotherapy in Newmarket, Ontario as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Vicki is trained to work with individuals, couples and/or families. When The College of Registered Psychotherapists was established, Vicki was granted membership as a Registered Psychotherapist.
Some clients are referred to her by a friend or a relative. Some clients are referred to her by their doctor or their pastor. Clients may be looking for help with: anxiety, depression, grief or problem anger - while other clients have a very specific type of therapy in mind. It may be helpful to know that Vicki can offer you: Cognitive Behavior Therapy; Solution Focused Therapy; Emotion Focused Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or C.B.T. for Trauma and/or Abuse Recovery.
Catherine Rawlins
Catherine Rawlins, R.P. (Qualifying), completed a Master of Divinity (Biblical Studies) in 2013 and Master of Arts (Counselling major) in 2025, from Tyndale University. Since then she has been practising psychotherapy in Newmarket, Ontario, under the supervision of Vicki Nishihama (R.P.) and Terry Wiseman (R.P.), as a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Catherine is thankful for all of the experience she has already had working alongside individuals, couples and families, utilizing techniques of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She feels honoured to help them navigate issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, dysfunctional relationships, maladjusted family dynamics and grief, moving towards healing and restoration.

The Stair Program
STAIR is an 11-week therapy program for people who are struggling with the after-effects of trauma. STAIR helps by teaching skills that improve coping with one’s emotions and navigating interpersonal relationships.
